Hi All: First, I want to say a big 'thanks' to Pat for transcribing all these great biographies. As I read and print out each one, I see names that I am familiar with -- as I went to school with some of them:
Jerry Howe, who was in my class and agreed to accompany me to my Rainbow Girls Dance -- and proceeded to eat his carnation one petal at a time. He was the funniest boy in my class.
Janice, Penny, John & Jim Patterson; Janice was in my class. I always kind of idolized her, as she was one of the 'popular' kids....
Bonnie Cook was in my older sister's class in high school and her father was Pastor of the Lutheran Church -- close to Wesleyan College (Just down the street from where we lived..)
Of course, McMillan Park and Saunders Park -- both places we spent many, many hours playing and picnicing.
My sister was in the Maypole dance at Saunders Park, and what a DEAL that was -- to be chosen for!
Soooo, as I see these names in biographies, I wonder if they were ancestors of my classmates and friends. It's fun to read about them anyway.
My Best Regards, Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert
