Yes, the Nathanial White Cabin is still in Saunders Park:

The Nathanial White cabin built in 1841 west of Mount Pleasant, later
purchased by the city and moved to Saunders Park in 1935.

My husband and I call Mt. Pleasant "home" even though we've not lived there
for over 30 years. We return to visit family 3-4 times a year. Weather
permitting, we walk from my mom's house to his mom's house, always taking a side
trip through Saunders Park [remember Mt. P is NOT a large town!]. This past
June, during one of those walks, we stopped at the Nathanial White Cabin for a sit
in the sun. The city has remodeled/restored and added on to the original
cabin. A deck [with Adirondack chairs] is attached and the cabin is available
for daily rentals. As we lounged on the deck, a mom and her newly graduated son
arrived to decorate the place for a graduation party. She had a key, so we
were able to go inside and look around. There's a huge fireplace and mantle,
which looks to be original. The interior walls are very rough, the floor is
cement. As I recall, the place has been electrified and has water, but I could
be wrong. There was a plaque on the wall stating the history of the cabin.
Next time I'm back "home" I'll try to visit the cabin to jot down the words on
the plaque. Cathy, Nathanial & Mary Rose White's Cabin would be the perfect
spot for a family reunion!!

Regards, Pat Ryan White (no relation to Nathanial and Mary Rose!)
