Denise,

I found Orville Allender's book Allender Family at the Mt. Pleasant
Public Library. Orville was a founding member of the Henry Co., Gen.
Soc. and on the library board. I think his information should be right.

Wesley Franklin Allender was married to Mary E. Mitts, daughter of James
Mitts & Martha Moffett.

Send me your address off the list and I will send you photocopies of the
family group sheets for Wesley F. Allender and David Gholson & Mary
Cornelia Allender.

I am trying to find some information about Wesley Franklin Allender. His
sister, Mary Cornelia Allender was my 2nd Great Grandmother.

I had Wesley's spouse as Ida Bates but cannot find where I got that
information as my 15 years worth of research papers are not in good order.
When I first started putting everyone in my Family Tree program I didn't even
know how to put a source in.

Now I find a lot of listings for his spouse to be Mary Ellen Mitts.

Anyone out there from this family?
