Val Fisher's generosity is more important than you may realize. Most U S
Government WWI service records were lost in a fire so the information she is
willing to share may be the only details you will find for a WWI veteran in
Floyd County.

I have this book. It belonged to my great grandmother who lost her son in
WW I. If anyone would like me to look up a name for them from this period,
just let me know. I'll be happy to try to find one of your ancestors & tell
you what the book says about them. I learned a great deal about my great
uncle from this book.
