I have always been able to get newspaper articles I need from the city's
local library. We are from the Iowa City area and the city library has a
web site where you can go and make a request. Since you have the dates it
is not a problem for a look. The library as usually sent me copies of the
articles I requested within 1 week. Give it a try!

Would like to find the story that was in the DesMoines Register and Tribune
from my fathers truck accident on October 28,1961. He was killed in
Stuart,Iowa Adair County Iowa. The story was on the front page of this
publications. I would also like to have a copy of the obit out of these
publications. I am assuming that the articles would have run on the 29th or
30th edtion of the newspapers. If anyone has any info on this subject I
would
be grateful. Thank You in advance. Margaret I live in
Colorado now and it is hard for me to travel to Iowa to do this research.
