I have a 1/2 brother that goes by his middle name also. His name is Ronald Dean ( I will not mention his last name as he is still living). He didn't like his 1st name so he went by his middle name.
My 1st name is Kathleen, I have been called Kathy since I don't remember when and I still go by Kathy ( I know this part don't have any bearing on middle names).
So as guys/men using the middle names that can be one of the reasons.
I also have a question. I have a cousin (which I don't have any info. on except his parents, siblings and other relatives. His name has been written down as Burly. Is Burly a nickname for a big built person or is it a nickname for another name?
