Just one more? My husband was Charles Eugene, his mom and dad called him
Gene,he went by Chuck later in life, his father was Charles, he was known as
Charlie. We named our son Charles Scott and he goes by Scott. He had a son
named him Charles Matthew, he goes by Matt. So, sometimes it is a family
name passed down, and they all end up going by middle names to avoid
confusion. I had a terribel time when Charles Scott first started school.
They wanted to call him Charles. I finally enrolled him as C. Scott.
