My brother's side is the confusing one in my family.
My grandfather was named Richard,
My father Kenneth,
My brother named Richard,
My brother's boys were named Kenneth, and one named Richard.
They all had middle names which were never used. In the case of my brother's
boys, their middle name was the name of each of their grandfather on their
maternal side. Each boy had a different mother.

When I asked my father where he got the name Kenneth, he just said, "my
mother gave it to me".
Case closed.
