There are some 1895 Census transcripts posted to the IAGenWeb State Census
project. We do not have a huge amount...yet, but these transcripts are much
more accurate than you will find on Ancestry; not to mention more complete.
This is due to interested, careful volunteers who make an effort to capture
every name as best they can.

You can check out whether the county you are interested in has transcripts
