I noticed your posting to the Iowa list in regards to the Iowa List

I know that Stewart is a common surname but I have a Nancy Stewart b. 15 Sep 1816 Londonderry Co, Ireland - d. 18 May 1878 married 25 Nov 1841 to a Daniel McDonald 10 Mar 1814 Mercer Co, PA, USA - both of whom died in Cincinnati, Appanoose Co, IA. Cincinnati, IA was also a "coal" town at one time. I know of no connection between "my" Stewart's and yours at this time - which of course means nothing.

If you or anyone think there might be any connection to my Stewart family or would like to pursue the possibility of a connection please contact me on or off list.
