Subject: [IOWA] Recorders Office Question / Dubuque

I'll be making a trip to Dubuque this coming week and would like to know
if the recorders office is in the courthouse and if so, where exactly is
the courthouse. For what years do their records exist? I'm looking for a
specific marriage in 1849. I sent this to the Dubuque list earlier today
but have not seen it come back through my mail so don't know if they
recieved it or not. I've had no replies from there. Thank you.
