Subject: [IOWA] Adopt A County
Date: Thu, 9 Oct 2003 11:11:30 -0500

School has started, the leaves are turning, the days are cooler and the nights are colder, it's dark earlier and earlier, and we're looking at the prospect of the long winter. It's time to think about fun and fascinating indoor activities. Like adopting an Iowa county...

We have a group of six great counties now that need you--no, not the other guy, YOU. You don't have to live in or close to Iowa. You don't have to be a computer whiz, and you don't have to know all there is to know about genealogy. If you're reading this, you have the necessary equipment and an interest in family history. That's most of what you need, right there.

The available counties are Cass, Clayton, Dallas, Monona (new), Osceola, and Ringgold.

Visit them and consider what you could do (and learn to do) with them, pick your favorite, and email me for an application form: . You'll be glad you did!
