I am not saving these posts on the WINN family since I have the original.
If anyone needs a copy of previous posts, please post your query to the

CATHERINE BYRD (KITTY B) WINN - 11th child of Jesse Durrett WINN Sr. was
born 22 Feb 1793; d 14 Sept 1840; md Dr. William GRAY 21 Jan 1812. Children:
1. Cornelia S b 29 Oct 1812.
2. Versillus b 31 Aug 1814.
3. John Courts b 23 Apr 1817.
4. Theresa D, b 7 May 1819.
5. Samuel M, b 19 Jan 1821.
6. Elizabeth k, b 28 Feb 1823.

Catherine Byrd WINN, married after the death of her first husband on 20
Sept 1828 in Greensburg, Green, KY to Dr. Richard Aylett TAYLOR on 3 June
1830. Children:

7. Aylett Buckner b 26 Aug 1831; d 16 Mar 1887.
8. Luther Howe b 8 May 1833; lived in Campbellsville, Taylor, KY
9. Daniel Gaines b 24 Apr 1835; d 25 Apr 1892.

JESSIE DURRETT WINN, JR, 12th child of Jesse Sr was b 30 Mar 1811, Fayette
Co KY. He died 20 Apr 1875. He was over 6 feet dall, stalwart frame,
sterling integrity, kindly nature. He married tiwce. M(1) Lucy Ann
Taliaferro BUCKNER who was b 14 Oct 1808; d 18 July 1849. Children:

1. Davidella B b 17 Dec 1829; md Joseph ROGERS of Woodford Co
KY. Son.
1. David E, b 10 May 1849; died single in 1889.
2. Mary E WINN b 4 Feb 1831; died single 26 July 1852.
3. Catherine E WINN b 29 Sept 1832; md Rev. Wiley T POYNTER (his
2nd wife). She died 17 July 1874 - no children.
4. Benjamin S WINN b 30 May 1834; md a SMITH and had at least:
1. William Terry WINN b 17 Apr 1858
2. George D WINN, a retired actor; lived in Lyons, CO; b 27 May
1861; single.
4. Benjamin S WINN m(2) in Mexico or TX, a lady of Mexican birth.
Was murdered in TX according to tradition, date unknown.Had 2
sons and one daughter.
5. William Henry WINN b 20 Jan 1836; d 6 July 1884; md Sarah
Elizabeth GRUBBS on 29 May 1861; she born 3 Nov 1838; died
4 Feb 1923. Was Deputy County Clerk of Clark Co KY; lived in
Winchester, moved to Montgoery Co. Was a lawyer and judge there.
Children: to be shown tomorrow.
