I was just given a book that I have fallen in love with by THE Kentucky
historian, Thomas D. Clark, published by the University of Kentucky Press,
1979 I believe. I did a web search and found it finally, 96 pages for $35.
hard cover.

The reason I love it - Clark goes into the metes and bounds of KY, a
Virginia boundary & the westward movement, The Walker Line & the Jackson
Purchase, Dr. Walker's legacy, a boundary in equity, the Ohio low water
mark, patterns on th land and years of conflict. He explains all the
boundary changes, how the land was measured PLUS has about 10 or more
OOOOOOLD maps of Virginia/KY that are really neat.

If you see this at a library, look at it, it will really help you figure
out KY lands
