Hi Sandi -
I am interested in purchasing any of the above named volumes with a special
interest in numbers 4, 7 or 11 if still available. Email me at
with details for payment and availability. I think you do
an outstanding job with your Kentucky lists and eagerly look forward to each
one. My most immediate ancestors lived in, near and on the Sumner Co., TN
and Simpson Co., KY border and their surnames include: HARDIN, MINER, BOREN,
DICKENS, KING, PATTERSON, RICKEL, RUSSELL, STREET, WENDT, BRILEY, CLINE,
DEMAAS, POOLE, KIRBY, JOHNSON, CYCON and others. My Great-Great Grandfather;
Benjamin HARDIN b. 1844 d. 1930 and buried in the HARDIN Cemetery located on
Searcy Lane in Portland, Sumner Co., TN is said to have actually been
Benjamin Hardin Whitehouse, the son of Dennis Whitehouse and Martha "Patsy"
Condor. Dennis Whitehouse was the son of Benjamin Whitehouse and Mary
"Polly" Sparrow who was the daughter of Henry and Lucy Sparrow and possibly
the half-sister of Nancy Hanks-the mother of the 16th US President Abraham
Lincoln. I mention this in the hopes that you may have information on the
Whitehouse, Condor, Sparrow and or Miner/Minor lineages or perhaps could
direct me to where I might find information on these lines. Thanks again for
the oppurtunity to purchase your books and for all that you do for Kentucky
researchers. It is definately appreciated by me.
Sincerely,
Stella A. Marquez
