Delphos, Ohio - Robert "Bob" Maxwell, 83, passed away Saturday, aug. 3, 2002,
at Saint Rita's Medical Center. Born March 15, 1919, in Middlesboro, Ky., he
was the son of the late Fred O. Maxwell and Winnie Belle (Jones) Maxwell. He
married Elizabeth Shakleford on July 27, 1939. She preceded him in death in
1996. He was a supervisor at Rawls Inc., for 30-years. He loved to fish and
garden. In addition to his parents, wife, he was preceded in death by two
sons, Bobby Ovid Maxwell, and Fred Maxwell; and one brother, Alvie Maxwell.
Survivors include two sons, Tony (Carol) Maxwell, Lima, Ohio, and David L.
(Twila) Maxwell, Streetsburrow; three daughters, Dorothy Davis, Delphos,
Yvonne Maxwell Witherspoon, Wapakoneta, and Robin Maxwell, Delphos; two
brothers, Ben (Bemie) maxwell, Middlesboro, David M. (Synney) Maxwell, Gomer;
two sisters, Christine Fuson, Flat Rock, Mich., and Bonnie (Sherman)
Crawford, Dayton, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral
services will be conducted by at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter and Son Funeral
Home, with Roger Hall officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery,
Delphos. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice. Harter and Son
Funeral Home, Delphos, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.

MIDDLESBORO - Travis Colby Walllace, 19, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002,
at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born in Middlesboro June
22, 1983, a son of Jerry Wallace and Trudy Fuson Wallace. He had been a
resident of this area all of his life, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Trudy Fuson Wallace, Middlesboro, father, Jerry
Wallace, Cumberland Gap, Tenn.; one brother, Jason Wallace and wife, Natalie,
Altus, Okla.; grandmother, Irene Wallace, Middlesboro; and several aunts,
uncles and cousins. Funeral services were conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday at
Shumate Funeral Home with the Revs. John Gibbons and Randy Phelps presiding.
Burial was in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m.
Saturday at Shumate Funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements.

MIDDLESBORO - Lewis Frank Seitz, 92, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at
Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born July 15, 1910, in
Michigan City, Ind., a son of Frank and Vera Monroe Seitz. He married Evelyn
Freyer Pierce, who preceded him in death on July 12, 1975. He worked at Swift
and Co., in Chicago, Ill, for over 30 years. In the 20's and 30's he had a
small band called Dune Town Ambassadors and was well known for his accordion
playing and piano tuning. In later years, he repaired televisions and small
appliances. He was a also a craftsman of woodworking. He and his wife, Evelyn
retired to Middlesboro in 1971. Also preceding him in death were two sisters,
Genevieve Gill and Marie Cook. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia L.
Sharon of Shorewood, Wisc.; two grandsons, Joshua James and Matthew Lewis;
three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Baude and Zoe; numerous stepchildren and
step-great-grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews; and there special
friends in Middlesboro, Morgan Bayless, Kathy Blondell, and Jewell Hurst.
Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Shumate Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.

PINEVILLE - Lucy I. Keel, 95, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at
Pineville Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 29, 1906, in Ingram, a
daughter of the late Thomas Jeff and Francis Begley Ingram. A nurse at the
Pineville Community Hospital for over 30 years, she was a member of First
Baptist Church of Pineville, the WMU and the Pineville Women's Club. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William
Carson Keel; two sisters, Jessie Ingram and Ellen Smith. Survivors include
her daughter, Margaret O. Disney, Harriman, Tenn.; her son, Bruce Keel,
Edmonton, Ky.; her sister, Ruby North, Tinsley; seven grandchildren, 13
great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral
services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home,
Pineville, with the Rev. Charles Jones and James Disney presiding. Burial was
in Pineville Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and members of the First Baptist Church
of Pineville. Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Arnett & Steele
Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church. Arnett &
Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
