1900 Bell co. census

Elhannon Sizemore 39, born 1861
Mary (wife) 35, born 1865

Elhannon and Mary sizemore's children:

Roscoe Sizemore-died April 24, 1972. He had a son named Belve, Jr. I think
this Belve
lived at Kettle Island, Ky. Bell CO.

Belve Sizemore-son of Elhannon Sizemore had the following children:
1. Farmer Sizemore-lived at East Pineville, beside Doc Evan's Store.
2. Charlie Sizemore-died 1997 Lived at Pineville, Ky.

4.Jim L. Sizemore
His children:
l. Ralph-
2. Bobby-
3.Ben-lived in Hamilton, Ohio
4.Clayton-
5.Geraldine-
All of these Sizemores lived in Bell Co. but Willis was listed in Clay co.
The house that my father, Camie and Nora Baker Sizemore was bought from
Roscoe and Maggie Sizemore. This same house had prior been owned by Belve
Sizemore. I think my father bought this house in 1932 or 35.

Also, I HAVE THIS BIT OF INFORMATION:
Etta Sizemore born Feb. 14, 1905, died 1983. She was the daughter of B.A.
Sizemore a Holiness preacher. Her mother was Sarah Knuckles. Etta married
David Colson Taylor in Cumberland Gap in Claiborne co. Tn. in 1929. Colson
was born Mar. 18, 1904 at Buffalo Branch on left fork of Straight Creek in
Bell CO. to James Monroe Taylor born 1875 died 1948.
Etta and Colson both were raised on the left fork of Straight Creek in Bell
Co. Ky.
Etta's grandparents were Elhannon Sizemore born 1861 and
Mary_Knuckles______BORN 1864.
mARY WAS DAUGHTER OF Charlie Knuckles and Lucy Slusher. See History and
Families of Bell Co. Ky., pg. 367 for more details.
Dorthy, I hope this little bit of information helps. Tell the person who
wants this information to send me the genealogy they have on this family.
Maybe as time goes on, I can finds some more to add to the genealogy of this
family.

I'm looking for Willis Sizemore b. ca 1813, md. Nancy Murphy, d/o Elhannon
Murphy and America Bowling. Willis had a son named Elhannon Sizemore. I'm
trying to help a cousin find out something about this Willis. We've had no
luck in trying to find out which Sizemore family he belonged to. Does anyone

know who Willis Sizemore's parents were? Hope there's some help out there! I
