Dorthy,

I have look over the information I have on Elhannon Sizemore and am still
working on that line of Sizemores. Some of it is confusing, I know what
Joyce Collins means.

Here's what I have briefly, leaving out a lot of details.:

Elhannon Sizemore born June 1856 at Bright Shade, Ky. He died June 1938, age
82. He was the son of Willis Combs Sizemore and Nancy Murphy Sizemore.

Elhannon married the first time to Nancy C. Mattingly born Dec. 17, 1858
Clay Co. Ky.
the daughter of Jesse Mattingly born Mar. 24, 1833 died Oct. 2, 1894 and
Mary Asher Mattingly born Sept. 30, 1832.

Elhannon divorced Nancy C. Mattingly. He then had an affair with Lucy Howard
and fathered her son Wilse or Wilson Howard.

Then Elhannon married Mary Ann Taylor b. ? , died 1895. Mary Ann was the
daughter of Alexander Taylor b. 1838 and Amelia Hubbard. See Descendants of

Dorthy, I hope this information will help. O, BY THE WAY, My oldest brother
is named
Robert Elhannon Sizemore. Why my parents named him Elhannon, I don't know.
Maybe, I should ask him.

Ask Joyce, does she know for sure who the parents of Willis Sizemore were.
Somewhere on the internet, I ran across it, that it was believed that HE WAS
THE SON
of Rhoda Sizemore and a Combs man. If that is true, there is a lot of
genealogy on Rhoda Sizemore.

Well, I've got to close, so keep me informed on this line of Sizemores,
Because I was always interested in this line, though not necessaryly my line
