I have tried to log on to the site you mentioned on the old newspapers.
Can't access the site. Can you help me?
Also, I'm looking for Two Stories, possible. #1 Daniel Littrell shot between
1911-1913. #2 Alexander Vance was crushed between two trains, in the early
1900's in Bell County. He lived in Harrogate, TN.
Also if you could help, William Jenkins was the first Mayor of Norton, VA.
He was shot by John Wampler and died February 11, 1900, in Norton. He would
have been my Great-Uncle. This shooting had to do with the Coal Companies and
them obtaining peoples land. William was also a prominent Attorney. I would
appreciate your help in trying to locate an article on the shooting.
