I am trying to locate the names of the siblings of Joseph HOLT (1807-1894) of Breckinridge Co., KY. His parents were John and Eleanor Stephens HOLT.
He was a prominent politician during the Lincoln and Buchanan presidencies.
Although he died in Washington DC on 1 Aug 1894, he was buried in Holt, KY in a family cemetery. Any family history data on this gentleman would be greatly appreciated. I recently discovered some 50-year old notes of my grandfather, that identifies this Joseph HOLT as a brother to my third great grandfather, Dr. James Patterson Holt of Calloway Co., KY.
