POOL in Breckinridge and Grayson counties Ky 1800`s-Friday, February 09,
2001

I am trying to prove that BUCKNER P. POOL was first married to MATILDA FRANK
(S) then to Clorinda or Clasinda. The 1850 Breckinridge co. Ky US census
lists the following people living together or in two houses on the same
property:
1 POOL, LOGAISTINE P. 66 N Carolina
1 POOL, CATHERINE P. 53 Maryland
1 Pool, Martha P. 27 Ky
1 Pool, John P. 24 Ky
1 Pool, Emiline 18 Ky
1 Pool, Sanford D. 16 Ky
1 Pool, John I. P. 5 Ky
2 POOL, BUCKNER P 23 Ky
2 POOL, MATILDA E. P. 24 KY
2 Pool, Martha I. P. 2 Ky.

Note: Buckner is living with a Matilda, his wife, I assume, and one
daughter.

The following is taken from the 1860 Grayson county Ky US census:
405 POOL, BUCKNER P 35 farmer Ky
405 Pool, Clorinda 22 Housewifery Ky
405 Pool, Martha J 11 Ky
405 Pool, James T. 8
405 Pool, John R 6
405 Pool, Edmond W 2
Note: Wife 22 daughter 11 either wife`s age is incorrect of Martha`s is
wrong or Martha is from a previous marriage.
The following was sent to me which may suggest that all of the children
belonged to Matilda:
Also this on Grayson Co Deaths by Frances Ingmire
Matilda Pool age 31 married died 9-11-1859 heart dropsy
dau of John and E Franks
