To "just curious Jeanette" :)

Breckinridge County was formed on January 1, 1800 by legislation enacted on
December 7, 1799 according to my source of An Historical Atlas of Kentucky
and Her Counties, written and compiled by Wendell H. Rone, Sr. copyright
1965, printed by Mayfield Printing Co., Mayfield, KY 42066, pp. 54 & 55.
This is a "must have" genealogical reference to consult when doing KY
genealogical research. This reference provides you with the changing
county boundaries thru KY's history, as well as, the parent county or
counties that it was formed from.

Thanks for visiting the Breckinridge Co. KYGenWeb site, I enjoy having the
site available to help researchers make some connections. I guess I should
remove the Bicentennial link, but as long as the link is active (is it?), I
might keep it for whatever it can provide for visitors.

I see you are researching a KIMBLE line. I descend from Harmonious Kimble
through his son William Allen Kimble and his daughter Rhoda Kimble who
married William Wood. These families lived, primarily, in Breckinridge,
Grayson & Ohio Counties. Have we corresponded before on the KIMBLE family?
