Still going through my grandmother's pix. Several photos of CLAYCOMBs and
CHAPPELLs with their mules! I remember as a child my uncle Robert Claycomb
was proud of his mules! On tv the other day there was a mule contest or
pulling contest, whatever it is called...anyway, Were there such contests in
the olden days in the area? Were the mules just working animals or did the
owners get to show them off in some contest form?
