Now as it has been explained to me is that Mary Maryman daughter of
John Maryman and Ann Vowles married 1st to William Clarke (who we now
know was the son of Robert Clarke Jr. son of Robert Clarke Sr. and
Sarah Combs.


Mary Maryman (Clarke) remarried after her husband William Clarke to a
________ Mcdaniel.


Her is will of Ann Maryman mother of Mary Maryman (Clarke) Mcdaniel

Will of Ann Mareman, SMC, widow of John Mareman, 10/8/1774-11/12/1774.
To: Mary McDaniel, 1 shilling. Children: Susanna Wells, Lydia Ward,
Eleanor Rainy, and one share to be divided among William Clarke's
children, 100 lbs. sterling equally between them with interest.
Children: William, Joshua, and Joseph Mareman, Susanna Wells, Lydia Ward,
Eleanor Rainey, and William Clarke's children (one share to them) and
Zachariah in case he does not marry Ann Howard, but if he does, he to get
1 shilling only, the money and interest from sale of a sloop and the
residue of my estate, both real and personal. Granddaughter: Sarah
Mason, wearing apparel. Cyrus Vowles to settle and divide estate. Wit:
John Tompkins, Mary Tompkins, William Russell.



My ancestor Richard Langhorn Clarke who was listed in same church in
Maryland as the Maryman Family moved about 1795 to Nelson County, Ky
then moved to Breckenridge County, KY.

It is my belief that Henry A. Clark as found in Nelson County, Ky was
the son of Zacharia Clarke and Sarah Mary Payne. He Henry A. Clark is
following my ancestor who is related. take a look at will of Henry A.
Clark in Breckenridge. Now I have not recieved a copy of full will,
but someone asked me years ago if this Henry A. Clark could be
related somehow to Richard Langhorn Clarke. At that time I did not
know the answer. Now I believe I do.

6/1815: Ethelburt Cissell and Lewis Ford to estimate the annual value of
the lands of Cornelius, Charles, William, Raphael, Zachariah, and Henry
Clarke--minors and orphans of Zachariah Clarke (Orphan Ct. Rec.,
Fenwick).


it gives the children of Zacharia Clarke son of (William Clarke and
Mary Maryman) who married Sarah Mary Payne.


I firmly believe I have found the son Henry Clark in Breckenridge County, KY.


Henry A. Clark his will was dated 1819 filed 1825 in Brekenridge County, KY.

notice how he gives money to some Mcdaniels.


Notice also Henry A. Clark was married in Nelson County, Ky. he
apparently died about 1819 in Breckenridge Couty, KY so did my
ancestor Richard Langhorn Clark about 1814. they would both would be
related cousins.




Anyone care to add to this or disagree with my findings.

More concerning Henry A. Clark

listed on 1813 tax list with one white male over 21; 209 acres

living near him was my Richard Langhorn Clarke and his son Wilford Clarke/


1814 Tax list.


A. Henry Clark 1 white male over 21 ?22 acres.
listed again 1 white male over 21; 104 acres on Rough.

living near him is a Mildred Clark and a Christopher Clark, William
B. Clark and a Charles Clark

my Richard Langhorn Clarke and his son Wilford also living nearby.



I'll skip to 1817 tax lists.


Henry A. Clarke on 1817 tax list. he had will signed1819 wife
Elizabeth recieved land, son Charles clark, John Clark, Benedict
Clark not yet 21 ; Richard Clark(does not say Richard Clark is a son)
to have cow; Alla Mcdaniel to have 1 dollar, Elizabeth Mcdaniael to
have one dollar.



so based on this I feel certain that this Marriage bond of Henry A.
Clark in Nelson County, Ky is the same person as found on record of
Breckenridge County,, KY










Their is a William B. Clark living near these people listed above
this William B.. Clark married Ephraim Comstock 16 Aug 1819 per
Breckinridge County, Ky tax list.
