Thanks for all the clues to John Sterett in Breckinridge County. John did
indeed move to Hancock County, Kentucky. As a matter of fact, his was one of
the first cases recorded by the Hancock County court. Apparently, "young"
John was cited for public profanity. Interesting that in several of the
Breckinridge County records, John Sterett is listed as the deputy sheriff.
You'd think he'd know better................
