Merry Christmas INDEED!!! You could not have presented my husband and me
with a better gift than the information you give below.
Yes, we would very much like to pursue the BEWLEY line , along with
any collateral info you have, especially the DENT line. The paternal grandmother
of Marcus L. BOARD (below), for instance, is Sally DENT (who married Jubal
BOARD. We have not been able to find any birth, death data for them, but
believe they were in VA all their lives. Sally DENT's father is supposedly
Willliam DENT, but we have no info regarding Sally's mother, or about Sally's
siblings. Probably there is a close tie-in with Elizabeth DENT, Esther ANDERSON's
mother, and any info you have on the DENT's may help us as well.
In paragraph (5) below regarding Esther ANDERSON, her son Charles
"Charley" Richard BOARD is my husband's maternal grandfather. He lived for
several years after my husband and I married in 1955, but I did not know any of his
siblings. Family info is that he had siblings named Joseph BOARD, George
BOARD, and Fanny Board. George supposedly married an Anita UNKNOWN and they
served as Methodist missionaries to Cuba. I am looking for more info on these
"up-close" relatives too.
Now, we also want you to let us know how YOU are connected here, and
if you are a true "cousin" or a "shirttail cousin"! :)
Once again, may God bless you for taking the time and making the
effort to assist this fellow-researcher!

> That takes care of Florentine and her children.
> NOW FOR THE CRUX:
> Her parents were John B. Bewley b: 19 February 1794 and Elizabeth B. Dent. I
> have two more generations before John. John and Elizabeth had 7 children.
