When you are in Louisville, if you can possibly do so, visit The Filson
Club, the genealogical treasure-house of Kentucky! It contains a vast
collection of genealogy information from every county in Kentucky, as well as
Virginia. The fee for a day of research there is $10.00 and worth every penny of it.
Plan to spend a whole day there if you can, and you may not even need to go
to Breckinridge or Hardin Counties if you can find what you are looking for at
the Club.

Happy researching!

I will be in Louisville the latter part of July for a few days. How far
is it to Breckenridge County and specifically where are they located (town).
I'm also hoping to make it to Harden Co. as well. I hope this is feasible.
