Wow, I took a few days off the computer and the emails and requests piled up! Therefore I'm going to just put them all on the list one at a time and with the name in subject line so you all can just delete what is not interesting to you. Some of the words on this paper are illegible.

Mrs John Akers
Irvington, Jun 28 (Special) - Mrs Annie Akers, wife of John Akers, died very suddenly at their country home near Invington Thursday night about midnight.
Mrs Akers was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Mike Lyddan and was 63 years of age at her death. She was a devout christian, being a member of Mr. Merino Catholic Church. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted to her church, family and (? might be husband). She is survived by a grief stricken husband and daughter, Miss Florence Akers and three brothers, John, George and Tom Lyddan, besides a host of friends and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Mt Merino Church at 10:30 Saturday morning conducted by the Rev. J. F. Norman or Waverly, Ky., after which the body was interred in Mr. Merino cemetery, where a large crowd of relatives and friends attended the committal rites.
