I am looking for the parents of AUGUSTINE FRANK or AUGUSTUS. The 1850
census in Breckinridge County, Ky lists an Augusta, age 19, and a NANCY
FRANK, age 40, living with JOSIAH SPENCER and his wife MAHALA FRANK.
The 1860 Breckinridge County, Ky lists an AUGUSTINE FRANK, 29, farmer, and
RHODA 24 living alone.
Was Augustus born out of wedlock to Nancy? I have a will for an ELIZABETH
FRANK that leaves her belongings to her daughters ISABELLA and NANCY. She
also states that after her death her property is to be given to NANCY but in
the care of JOSIAH SPENCER. She also states that ISABELL and MAHALA FRANK
SPENCER shall receive the property after Nancy`s death. ELIZABETH died in
1838. So is this the same NANCY with AUGISTINE that is living with JOSIAH
in 1850? So could she be his mother?
