September 21, 1840 - Memorandum of John Deweese and George Deweese that they
were present on September 12th 1840 and heard Nehemiah Dowell in his last
sickness wish all his estate to go to his wife and his children. Executor
to be his brother John Dowell and his son James Dowell
Nehemiah Dowell died the following day.

Littleberry Dowell left a will p. 361 of will book 1
I have a number of relatives that should be buried in Breckinridge and
cannot find them in cemeteries there.
perhaps they lived in an area that became incorporated into another county
