Subject: CCloverport Cemetery

The Cemetery is on the main street through town. It used to be Hwy 60 but the
highweay was diverted to a bypass. Go through town from the direction of west
to East. The cemetery is on the right just before leaving town. If
approaching from the East follow the signs to Cloverport off Hwy 60 and you will see the
cemetery on the hill to your left just as leaving hwy 60. The entrance will
be about a mile on the left much after you will expect it.
The cemeterfy must be approached from the West as there is no entrance from
the East. It would be nice if you knew the approximate location of the graves
in question. Without a map of the cemetery or a bit of guidance a family plot
might be very hard to find. Most of the larger and older stones are readable
from the center drive, however.'
Formerly there was a caretaker house adjacent to the Cemetery. I do not know
if it is still there or not. There is no office for the cemetery.
