The Hickerson Cemetery is about a half mile down the lane from State Route 259 at the late Clarence and Verna Troxle residence - approximately seven miles from Hardinsburg, three miles from Sample. There is a right-awary to the cemetery.

Anne, I knew Richard (Dick, as we knew him) and his wife Della May when I was growing up. He sang in New Bethel Church near , Hardinsburg, Ky, with my Mom and her Mother and sisters. I remember him being at my Father's funeral in late 1998, but I can't remember if he was at my Mom's in 2003. There is a cemetery across the road from New Bethel that most of the people have at least a relative or two, there. I have 8 or 9 ...I played with his children when I was a child. I remember two little girls , and I will try and think of their names....that was over 50 years ago! You should be able to pull him from the census in 1940 or 50 in Breckinridge Co. If I come up with anything I'll let you know. The Bandy family
I vaguely remember, but can't recall any specifics. The grown children of Dick would probably be able to give you more. Best of Luck. I'm researching Robbins, Roberts in Breckinridge. My Mother's family.

Thank you for the suggestions & notes! I ordered Judson's death certificate, and his parents (Logan Hickerson & Sally Robbins) were listed. I found a birth record for a Logan Hickerson, by Frances Hawkins & Joseph Hickerson. Please tell me if my logic is correct. I found cemetary records for Hickerson Cemetary. It includes Ella Bandy (definite in my file) & Sallie Robbins (definite in my file) This cemetary is noted as being on the "old family farm". So since I also found graves for a Logan, and Frances Hawkins & and Joseph....can I assume they are a match with my family? The ONLY thing holding me back is that I did not find a confirmed birth date for Logan other than these other sources, and I have not found a census report with Judson listed as Logan's son. (which would have given me an estimated birth year) Any advice would be appreciated...I am very new and very inexperienced at this!
