Hello.
I read your inquiry/info about Wm.Burgess and Hannah
Rawlings that were in Breckinridge Co. I am a
descendent of the Carman families in Breckinridge Co.
and we have an Andrew Carman that we thing might
have married an Elizabeth"Betsy" Ralston/Rawlings.
We have been unable to verify this. I found some old
items about a Matthew Rawlings in Breckinridge Co.
and that some Ralston's were heirs of a Solomon
Turpin who was married into my Sharp line. They were
items in what we call the
Cook Books, which is a set of five books of recorded
court records and other records including a census,
and some birth and death.
In your research of the Rawlings/Ralston families, did
you ever come across the Carman name?
Sincerely,
Adele Sharp
