Sarah M. Avitt was b. abt 1855, dau of Charles Avitt (1813/1814-1899) and Diannah Barr (1822-1891) of Breckinridge County, KY. She married Francis Oliver (or Oliver Francis) Burch 27 Nov 1873. The 1880 census of Union Star, Breckinridge, KY shows them with 3 sons: Francis, Paul & Lawrence.
