my great-great grandfather, William Huff who was a native of Kentuchy, was married in the 1830's to Jennie Taylor, also a native of Kentucky, my great grandfather Jefferson Huff was born in 1838 in Perry County, Indiana--the family moved to Arkansas until William died, they then returned to Perry County, Indiana, where Jefferson married Mary Howard and they moved to Woodson County, Kansas--is this the same William Huff that you referenced
