Lucille Millican

BLOOMINGTON -- Lucille Millican, 83, of Phoenix Towers in Bloomington for 20 years, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 2, 2005) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Her graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Stanford, Pastor Robert Williams officiating.

Donations may be made to the family in C/O Roberta Burns. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Nov. 28, 1921, at Glendean, Ky., to Sam and Mattie Smith Evans. She married Dennis Millican on March 1, 1946, at Washington, D.C. He passed away June 13, 1975.

Surviving are two sisters, Sally Geary, Beaver Dam, Ky., and Vena Mehl, Bloomington; and one brother, Tom Evans, Atlanta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
