Hello Brie,
I commend you on having embarked on a most worthy and
ambitious project. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing
your work on Freedom Cumberland. Many thanks, and do
keep us posted on your progress. -- Alice

Hi all....
I have recently began posting pictures and info regarding several
cemeteries
within Breckinridge County, Kentucky. My "pet" project has been to
photograph entire cemeteries while searching for family markers. As a
result, I've
been able to photograph the following cemeteries:
Bennett Cemetery
Bruner Cemetery #2
Bruner Cemetery #4
Jared Cemetery
Preston Cemetery
All but the last 5 rows of Custer UMC Cemetery
All but the last two rows of Big Springs UMC Cemetery
Once it begins to warm up I hope to get back down and get more cemeteries,
but these were a good start for now. I'm hoping to get the remainder of
Custer and Big Springs UMC, in addition to the Hensley-Dowell, Cedar Hill
Irvington, Mt. Merino, Garfield, Freedom Cumberland Presb., and the Ivy
Hill
cemeteries. My goal is to eventually get as many of the cemeteries
photographed as possible to have a preserved image of the marker and/or gravesite,
along with the cemetery it's self.
Once the photographs are taken, I transcribe the marker as well. In
addition, I not only am placing them on FindAGrave.com, but am working to
get them uploaded onto the Breck. Co. GenWeb Archives site.
Merry Christmas to all my Breck. Co. cousins and their families...
