Looking for the name of the father of Alta M. Beatty. She was born December 17, 1922 in Kentucky. Her birth record shows she was born in Hancock County, the daughter of Hallie Rowen Beatty. Her obituary says that she was born in Breckinridge County. KY and that she moved to the Washington DC area in 1940 and was graduated from George Washington University. Alta Beatty Eddins died August 24, 1995. She was survived by her husband, Joseph T. Eddins of Potomac, MD; one daughter, Jennifer Eddins of Seattle; and two brothers, E. William Beatty of Aurora, Colo., and Clarence D. Beatty of Hingham, Mass.
