Polly Basham may have been a granddaughter or Daniel and Alice Hardin. One of their daughters married a Basham, and Alice, who lived to be something like 101, died at her Basham daughter's home. Another of their daughters married a Haynes--that is my line. Since Daniel had a sister named Mary but called Polly and a daughter named Polly, you might want to check the Hardins.
It is said that Daniel and Alice are buried at the Hardin-Basham farm near Lodiburg in Breckinridge County. A cousin and I tried to find it several years ago, but the farm to which we were directed, is huge and is fenced for at least a mile. We couldn't find anyone or any way to get in.
