FTM CD #229 Ky Marriages before 1850 has:
Clarke, Benjamin m. Eskridge, Nancy, 17 Aug 1807, Breckinridge Co., KY
Clark, Benjamin m. Mathews, Nancy, 17 Aug 1817, Breckinridge Co., KY.

Because dates are similar I have to wonder did someone transcribe the data
wrong or did 2 marriages become one in your mother's list.
