I wish I could help you with the parents. I have seen something posted on the boards earlier that Rene LaForce who married Martha is one in a long line by that name, like perhaps 4th or 5th (?). I am also a researcher of Samuel and Martha Stafford McGee. I shall be happy to share any other info I might have.
Are you a direct descendant of that couple?
