Dupin/Jupin has been used interchangeably and not sure why. I personally knew Dora (sort of). I was just a kid, but she married a guy whose last name was Faith. She was living in West Point, Hardin County, KY in the 70s and/or 80s. Since she is the half-sister of my g-grandfather, my grandmother would on occassion talk to her. She also wrote the West Point news column for the Meade County Messenger.
