Does anyone have or know someone who might have, a photo of either
Marvel N. Jordan or Mary Ann (Claycomb)? They had only two children;
my husband descends from the son William Grayson who moved from
Breckinridge Co. to Kansas in the 1880s. Daughter Amanda married
Adam Jolly and they remained in Breckinridge Co. Any photos
of Marvel and Mary Ann would most likely be found among her
descendants. However, I can't rule out a group shot with them and
their siblings. Marvel died 1894 and Mary Ann in 1886.

While on the subject, does anyone have a picture of William Grayson
Jordan / Jourdan? One of his wife, Sarah Alice (Ball), is posted on
my web page in the "Miller / Jordan" photos section. Can anyone
confirm the identify of the photo labeled: Either Wm G. or his son
Jabez Sr. Does anyone have a photo of Amanda (Jordan) Jolly and
her husband? Thanks. A cousin is making a photo album of the
ancestors and we are missing these.

I discovered a xerox copy of a photo of Marvel's father, Sashwell
Jordan (1785 - 1874), in the Jordan folder at the Archives in
Hardinsburg. Soon I'll post a scanned image of that one to my web
