So far, the Davis line has been very elusive. I can't locate Henry T. Davis before his marriage in 1882 in Clark County, Indiana. And I can't find him after the 1920 census.

In all fairness though, I haven't spent a lot of time on them as I've been focusing on other branches. I do however have a request in to the MRPC in St. Louis for Roy Davis' military records. He is Henry's 3rd child.

If you don't mind, I would like to keep your email address handy. When I start to dig deeper I will share what I find. You probably know all too well how hard it is to research someone with a name as common as Davis.

Pleasure to meet you!

Read your e-mail about Henry T. Davis. I know nothing of this family but
for
years have hoped to find someone researching the Davis family. The reason
being that one of my father's sisters, Pearl Catherine Sharp married a
Wilson Davis and they lived in Breckinridge Co. in the late 20's ,early
30's.
Wilson Davis was County Judge during some of these years. I have a
picture of this couple, also copy of his will and a couple of other items. I
know that Wilson was married previously to his marriage to my aunt. I know
that he was divorced and had a son from his previous marriage. He mentions
his son in the will, but left him nothing. Probably, the son is no longer
living
but if there are any descendants living I would share a copy of the photo.
and also, his straight raisor with his name written on it, was given to my
father. I would like to see this go to one of his descendants.
I know that Wilson Davis's father lived at Stithton which I think was in
Meade
Co. I have seen a copy of his father's death certificate, which is filed in
Hardin Co. I believe Wilson Davis father was John Davis. Wilson Davis
signed the death certificate.
If any of the above is part of your Davis line, I will be glad to share/give
the items listed to a descendent

> Does anyone have any info on a Henry T. and Addie M. Davis in Breckinridge
County after 1910? They divorced (or Henry died) and Addie M. remarried
Allen Jupin in Meade County and she later died there in 1915. The Davis
kids were Myrtle, Fred, Roy, Mary, Robert, John. They were in Breckinridge
County in 1910 census, but not sure where they went after that.

Meade County one way or the other. Roy ended up in Hardin County where he
died in the 1950's or 60's.
