I will also tell you about John Keenan who taught at the Burton School and where it was. John Keenan was a son of my family patriarch, Patrick Keenan (1766-1832), born in Ireland and died in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. You are correct; John Keenan was well known to your Burtons. For some reason, the bell in my brain just sounded. I should have recognized the Burton surname immediately. I have been to the site of the old Burton School, now long gone, many times.
