Message Board Post:

In the 1870 census of Hardinsburg there is a William Cook age 76, wife Frances age 36 and two children, Marthy E. age 12 and Michael F. age 10. Are Marthy & Michael her & William's children?

1880 census Cloverport, Mag. Dist #2--Frances and Michael are living in the household of a James W. Idsome (please correct name for me it is very hard to read) and family. Frances Cook is listed as grandmother with Michael Cook as boarder.

Nothing found for Michael Cook 1900 & 1910.

1920 Mike Cook and Octava (Burton?) and son Allen are living in Rockvale.

Nothing found for Michael Cook 1930.

I am assuming here that William Cook was James W. Idsome's grandfather. Frances (being one of his wives) would, even though younger than him, make her his grandmother or even his wife's? Can someone also please confirm that Octava Burton married Michael Cook?

Thank you for any help.
