Trying to refresh a childhood memory. Visited a small community (abt. 1967), I think it was Hardin Springs. The family I stayed with (GARYs) owned a very small grocery, probably 20 x 20 Foot. It might have been a post office, too. Just down the road was a steel bridge crossing over a spring. This was a great swimming hole, plus, there was a picture perfect dam & waterfalls.
The lady that took me there was a dear friend from here in Louisville, Bertha CUNDIFF, She was married to Harvey CUNDIFF. Bertha took care of her sister, here in Louisville, who I assume was a GARY, who had married a MERCER. Any help with ancestry & descendants would be most appreciated.
