Sounds really cool, Dana. What a help! I was so curious while
transcribing as to where so many of the places were. Most I could find,
but not all. I kept handy a list of Topo Maps and Aerial Photos (very
few) that is available at
http://www.topozone.com/states/Kentucky.asp?county=Breckinridge
It does locate current and known past cemeteries--if you don't know about
it, you might want to look so you don't duplicate what's already there.
The match up (a sort of mashup in current lingo?) with Google would be
great as topographical maps leave something to be desired! I don't know
how to do that yet.
I have located the images for two of the three P's that are missing:
Ernest Priest and Daniel Pile. I can't seem to find here or on Ancestry
one for Roy Alfred. Only it just hit me that it might be Ray and sure
enough. He signed his name Ray Alford. So as soon as I get them
transcribed I'll send them to you.
Gorgeous day here, hope yours is, too. Quite a finish yesterday with
Street Sense--although I tend to root for underdogs.
