Mona Jean Clevenger, 74

The mother of CheriLynn (Don) Skinner of Bluffton, Mona Jean Clevenger, 74, of Gas City died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Clevenger was the former owner/operator of The Doll House Beauty Shop in Gas City, and was a member of First Christian Church in Gas City.
Born on July 12, 1932, in Breckinridge County, Ky., she was a daughter of George and Mary Kathryn (Gentry) Willis. Her marriage on April 8, 1950, was to Robert Lee Clevenger, who survives.
Other survivors include another daughter, Paula (Robert) Wade of Avon Park, Fla.; a son, Tracy (Brenda) Clevenger of Marion; sisters Gloria (Wilbur) Reis of Hartford City, Mary Alice (Jim) Bott of Marion and Anna Margaret (Philip) Dowell of Hardinsburg, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lee Clevenger; and two brothers, Kenneth Riley Obenchain and William Obenchain.
Services were held Friday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Gas City, with Rev. Todd Graham officiating.
Burial is in Gardens of Memory, Huntington. Preferred memorials are to the Ronald McDonald House, Indianapolis.
