Hi all...

I was able to update the site yesterday with more items. There are updates to the WWI Draft Registration Card project. The "W" surname page had additions as does the "S" surname page. Tonight I'll be able to upload more cards for the "H", "S", and "W" pages, so will let you all know when they are up and available.

I also did an update to the Cemetery Tombstone Transcription page. While it's not technically pictures of all the tombstones within these particular cemeteries, I received two articles that I've linked on the page so that atleast there is something about them listed. Peggy Russell sent me a newspaper article from 1982 on the cemetery clean up of the Owens Cemetery. At present I don't know which Owens Cemetery it is, as there are 4 or 5 of them. She also sent me an article on the Matthews Cemetery from 2000. If and when I ever receive pictures of the markers in these cemeteries, I'll add those and move the articles to the Newspaper Section of the site. Until then, I'll be keeping the articles on the Cem. Tombstone Trans. page. I will be contacting Mrs. Schafer at the Archives to see what further information I can get on all the Owens Cems. and the Matthews Cem.
